I hate to have to write that the 3 year anniversary of Brian Shaffer's disappearance is quickly approaching, and I feel we are no closer to a resolution than we were the day he disappeared. 2008 was not kind to this case. On 9/14/08, we lost the biggest advocate for Brian's case. His father, Randy, was killed in a tragic accident when he was struck by a tree and killed.
Needless to say, this has definitely affected everyone involved in Brian's case, including myself. After meeting Randy and understanding his deepest desire, to find answers to his son's disappearance, we know what Randy would have expected from each of us....to continue the search for his son and for the answers surrounding his disappearance.
In Ohio, there are over 1,000 missing persons. That means that 1,000 suffering families in our state alone. It is important to know that NO ONE IS IMMUNE FROM THIS PROBLEM. It could be your mother, your son, your nephew, your friend or God forbid, yourself.
